The New Visitor Centre is now open!

A beautiful new building housing our brand new Cafe, Shop and Exhibition.

Explore 300 million years of  Derbyshire geology with our brand new 'Wonderground' exhibition.  Discover the awsome power of a drip of water falling on Limestone. Learn about our Roman visitors and what they got up to and the ancient legend of the lost treasure of Poole! 

Tasty hot food, snacks and drinks
A great new cafe in which you can enjoy a light snack or delicious meal. Relax indoors in our new cafe or outside picnic area.

StalactiteShop
The new centre is also home to a fine selection of rocks, minerals and gemstone jewellery (we don't really sell stalactites, they are protected). Locally produced gifts, crafts and art are also on display as well as plenty of quality items for the smaller pocket.  
We also stock a wide range of maps, guides and local interest publications.
