The Constant Drop
The 'Constant Drop' has formed a peculiar, eye-like feature, often said by over-enthusiastic tour guides to belong to the dragon-like rock formation beside it.
Over thousands of years the rapid splashing of water has formed a flattened stalagmite beneath. In more recent years the dripping has drilled a hole in this stalagmite, almost 3cm deep, indicating that the Drip has accelerated. (Photo: Tony Woodcock)
